The Department of Highways Geospatial Information Open Data Center, developed as a standard to provide geospatial information services, is referred to as the FGDS standard within the Department of Highways. It allows internal and external public agencies and individuals to conveniently and quickly access Department of Highways data at all times. The data is displayed on maps with associated metadata and can be downloaded in various file formats. This standard defines the guidelines for geospatial data to facilitate the integration of geospatial information among the Department of Highways, government agencies, private sector, and the public.
